Tali briefly watched Vulpes walk out, making a mental note to confront him over his strange behaviour when she was finished helping Mary, before taking out the bandages an gauze she mentioned, opening the bottle of ointment Graham had given her, smearing it on the burns and then bandaging them up. "Feel any better?" she asked.

"It's... It's not that bad!" Tali tried to reassure her. "I'll just cut off the burnt ends and it will be fine!"

"You don't look like a boy," Tali said soothingly as she grabbed her bag and began to rummage around in it for a pair of scissors and a comb. "I used to have my hair a lot shorter than this. So short that I was frequently mistaken for my brother!" Once she found the comb and scissors, she began to cut off the burnt ends of Mary's hair.

Tali continued to cut Mary's hair, careful not to take off more length than necessary. After a while, she put the scissors down and gave her hair one last comb-through. "There... It looks fine!" she said.

"Yeah, you go and get some rest, you certainly need it," Tali replied, returning her smile, before putting her scissors and comb back in her bag, getting up and walking out to go and find Vulpes.

Tali spotted Vulpes sitting up on the hill and began to walk up it (which she found a bit hard, since her legs were quite sore, and she was rather tired). Once she reached the top, she stop a couple of metres behind Vulpes. "Hey. I want a word with you," she said.

Graham looked up from his Bible to watch Mary's reaction to her hair and her outfit, before sighing heavily and resuming his reading.
