"Agh! Get off me, woman! Are you trying to kill me or something?" Caesar yelled, still flailing about, though he eventually managed to sit up.

As Tali applied her lipstick, she began to get the feeling that she was being watched. She put her lipstick down, strode over to the door of her tent and poked her head out. Her face darkened when she saw Nara standing there. "Oh. It's you," she said monotonously.

Mary pulled the pillow back and let it drop on him, she just laughed. "That was funny," she did look rather amused.

Nara turned, having to catch himself quickly as the woman stormed out. "Yes." It appeared he could only string together one word answers at the moment. "This is your disguise," he shoved a dress at her and turned his nose up.

"Ugh... I was having a wonderful sleep..." Caesar muttered, rubbing his eyes. He then promptly lay back down, rolled over and squeezed his eyes shut. He wasn't ready to get up yet.

"Uh... OK then?" Tali said, frowning down at the dress Nara shoved into her arms. "I guess I'll put it on then..." And with that, she turned around, went back into her tent, slid off her old dress and put the new one on.

"Don't ignore me," Mary prodded him again in the ribs. She sulked as he just rolled away from her and proceeded to fall back to sleep, she then laid down next to him and hugged his arm. "Aw, this is cute isn't it?" She was pretty sure this would get him out of bed, the guy hated anything sentimental or overly affectionate.

Nara waited, not sure what to do, he glared menacingly at the tent as if trying to will it to collapse and crush her.

"So are you two leaving now?" Kori burst in to the scenario with a chipper smile, suddenly right besides Nara.

Nara froze on the spot, unable to respond.

"Ugh... Okay, fine. I'm getting up, I'm getting up!" Caesar groaned, sitting up and rubbing his eyes again. He then got out of bed and stood there with his arms outstretched. "See? I'm up now!"

Tali poked her head out of the tent again. "I don't know, are we?" she asked Nara, turning to look at him. The dress he had given her as her disguise was somewhat tight, but she didn't dare complain about it.

"Good," Mary slid off the bed, groaning as her ankles strained a little under the extra weight. "Tali and Nara are just leaving and they're taking Rex for safety."

"Yes!" Nara practically yelled the response at the sky, fumbling as he grabbed the stuff and attempted to leave without staring Kori in the eyes.

Kori walked over to Tali and gave her a big hug. "Take care."

"Wait, what? Who gave them permission to take him?!" Caesar growled, but then he shook his head. "Nevermind, just as long as they take good care of him. I don't want to lose him again."

Tali hugged him back tightly. "I will. Say goodbye to Mary for me please?"

"Erh, he's MY dog remember?" Mary prodded him. "Hence my permission was permission enough." She cocked an eyebrow, rather annoyed with his constant strive to control things.

"Oh don't forget Rex." Kori pointed to the dog that quickly ran down the hill and paused at Tali's side, he gave her hand a lick.

"A dog?" Nara looked at Rex. "He doesn't look like a Legion mongrel."

"Whatever. Just as long as they take good care of him and don't let anything bad happen to him. If they lose him or let him get killed, I won't be very happy," Caesar said, crossing his arms.

"He's not a Legion monrel. He followed Mary back from Freeside," Tali said, kneeling down and rubbing his neck. "Ready to come along boy?"

"He'll be as safe as sugar." Mary grabbed a pillow and threw it at the back of Caesar's head, hitting with precision. "But anyway I need to go persuade Anthony to give me Lupa's brain." She stood up and brushed the creases in her skirt down.

Rex barked and gave her a lick on the cheek. Nara pulled a weird face. "I see, well then, we should leave," he turned and began to walk briskly towards the front gate, not looking forward to this little expedition.

"Alright then. Off you go. Good luck," Caesar said, beginning to shuffle his way back towards his bed. He was planning to go back to sleep once she had left. "If he says no though, be prepared to find another dog. After all, Lupa IS his favourite."

Tali straightened up and began tugging at her dress's bodice in a futile attempt to loosen it at bit. Eventually she gave up and hugged Kori again. "I'm going to miss you. Look after yourself, OK?"

Mary rolled her eyes as she walked out, she headed down towards Tali's tent first, aiming to wish her a 'farewell'.

Kori clung to her, sulking deeply. "I wish I could go with you, it would be like another awesome road trip." He pulled back and hung his head. "Will you bring me back a present?"

Caesar groaned and flopped down on his bed again. "Ugh... I'm too tired for this crap..."

"I wish you could come too. Travelling alone with HIM will be a nightmare," Tali said sadly. "Of course I'll bring you back a present! I'll find you something awesome just for you! How does that sound?"

Kori began to sob a little, finding the entire thing rather upsetting. "But you'll be gone for ages." He looked like a pathetic mess.

"She'll be back Kori, stop causing a scene." Mary smacked the back of Kori's head lightly and sighed. "Well, good luck I suppose," she smiled, or attempted to smile. "Don't..die or anything..I need your expertise to help deliver my children!" She patted her stomach.

"Don't worry, I have no intention of dying anytime soon," Tali assured Mary. "I'll be there in time to help bring the little ones into the world." She then saw how upset Kori was. "Aw, Kori! Don't be sad! I'll start crying in a minute! I'll be back before you know it!" She took hold of his hand and patted it affectionately.

"Alright we're leaving already!" Nara slapped her hand from his and stormed off quickly, suggesting she best follow soon or she'd end up having to track after him.

Kori sniffed and waved goodbye, Mary did so too.

Nara walked to the front gate, nodding to the guard as he opened the door for them. The road would take a few hours at best, a few hours with HER!

"Ow!" Tali cried as Nara slapped her hand. She glared as his back as he walked away. What the hell was his problem? Did he have some sort of issue against her showing affection towards her friend? She shook her head, said her final goodbyes to Mary and Kori, whistled for Rex to follow her and rushed off after Nara. "This is going to be a fun trip..." she muttered to herself as she ran.

Nara had just walked out the gate when Tali caught up with him, he turned a little to stare at her, eyes heavily narrowed. "Keep up," he muttered, quickly storming off. They wouldn't be taking the boat, it was quicker to go by foot. Nara felt no need to make polite conversation so just grunted out a few comments. "You've made yourself quite at home haven't you? A nice little nest....got your claws into a few people as well," namely Kori.

"What on earth are you talking about? I haven't "got my claws" into anyone!" Tali snarled, trying to keep up with him. She made a mental note to ignore everything he said to her from that moment on and pretend that he wasn't there. Just her and Rex.

"Well you look pretty comfortable from what I've seen, swooping in before anyone else had the chance like a...like a....bat or some other ugly creature." Nara walked quicker, forcing Tali to try and keep up.

"Chance to do what?" Tali growled, though she was genuinely starting to get confused. She swore under her breath as she began to sprint in order to keep up with him. This was going to make her tired very quickly.

"A chance to get there first, but no, you had to take him all for yourself," Nara was on a roll and started blurting things out as he paced up a rocky hill.

"Alrighty then..." Tali finally said after a pause. She still had no idea what he was talking about and, in some ways, didn't want to know. She groaned as she tried to climb the rocky hill while still keeping up with him. As much as she hated him, she didn't want to get left behind and have to find her own way to Camp McCarren.

Nara walked in silence for a good hour, the sub beating down on the both of them, he finally stopped and sat down for a rest. Digging into his back he produced a bottle of water, staring at Tali he groaned a little and then got another, throwing it at her.

"Er... Thanks?" Tali said, catching the bottle of water. She opened it and sniffed it cautiously, then took a small sip. Then she poured some into her hand and offered it to Rex. "Thirsty, boy?"
