"Of course," Nara's mouth twitched a little as he was led out of the room. He couldn't help but feel pride at having dealt with Silus, he'd wanted to kill that man for years.

"Right..." Tali lowered her voice. "That that that's done... I guess we sort out the monorail now?" She gulped; she was not looking forward to this.

Nara nodded, pulling away from her grip once they were out of everyone's sight, he reached into his pocket and stared at the note. "So we need to collect these..things," he tilted his head a little as he read the list they had been given. "And..we need to..fr-frame?" Getting angry Nara threw the note at Tali. "You read it, it's pointless."

As Nara threw the note at her, Tali wondered why he was so irritated all of a sudden and why he couldn't read it himself. Nevertheless, she took the note and read it. "Alright... I know what we have to do first," she said, making her way over to the ticket counter, opening the rubbish bin nearby and rumaging through it.

Nara followed, looking over Tali's shoulder as she began to pick out the items needed. "We've got to put these in someone's footlocker, right?" He'd already received some of the mission information from Vulpes but it never hurt to check, he wasn't sure who they were supposed to frame. "I think it might be best if we separate on this task, that way we'll get it done quicker." Nara grabbed the items and put them in his bag. "You go set the monorail up to explode and I'll go put these in the guys footlocker, then we'll meet outside and get rid of the scape goat...we can say he tried to attack us." He stood up. "What is the name of the man we have to frame?"

"His name is Davey Crenshaw," Tali whispered. She then nodded at Nara, turned and headed in the direction of the door to the monorail, but was turned away by the soldiers guarding the door. She inwardly cursed, wondering what the heck she was going to do now. Suddenly, the idea came to her to wait until the guards changed shifts. She had no idea when that would be, so she found herself a hiding place and waited.

While Tali was waiting Nara quickly walked up the steps and headed towards the living area of the building, as he walked past NCR officers and grunts he couldn't help but curl his bottom lip in disgust. They swarmed around this place like worker ants with no work, they weren't even training, just sat around doing nothing. As he walked into the dorms he began to hunt for Davey's footlocker, he finally noticed one with the word 'Crenshaw' carved into it and then, checking first no one was looking, he placed the bomb ingredients inside.

Tali quietly breathed a sigh of relief when the guards finally left to change shifts. Once they were out of her line of sight, she jumped out of her hiding spot and swiftly made her way to the door to the monorail. She then got on the monorail, headed towards the airvent where the bomb was located, opened it and activated the bomb. She then got off and ran back towards the door for dear life.

Nara had just begun to walk towards their meeting place when he was nearly thrown from his feet by a loud explosion, the sound of the monorail crashing to the ground brought a small smile to his lips. He then broke out into a run, they needed to find Crenshaw and deal with him before too many people got on the scene. Walking into the open, Nara spotted the man looking rather bored at his current post.

Tali made it to the place where she was supposed to meet Nara, only to see him running away. "Hey! Wait for me!" Tali cried. She ran after him, still panting from having run from the monorail to her current location.

Nara approached Crenshaw with a smile. "Hey you," he waved a little to get the mans attention. "I hear you're quite the prankster, I'm in the middle of pulling a prank myself!"

"Really?" Crenshaw turned, a wide grin on his face as he heard the news. "Oh you got to tell me, what is it..firecracker in the toilet?"

"No...I pulled the pin out of someones hand grenade." Nara darted forwards and ripped the pin from the grenade strapped to Crenshaw's chest, the man had little time to respond before he was shoved backwards. Nara himself took a few large steps back and smiled as the realisation spread across the mans face just in time for him to explode.

Tali caught up with Nara just in time to see Crenshaw explode, at which point she let out a cry of shock and horror. "Did you have to kill him like that?!" she whispered furiously. "That was unnecessary!"

"It was sort of funny." Nara turned, waving the grande pin around his finger casually. "Anyway the job is done now, well done on blowing up the monorail," he groaned a little as he praised her, rather reluctant to admit she'd done well. "We just need to report back and give the Colonel that evidence." One of the strewn bits of Crenshaw crushed under Nara's feet as he casually walked over the blood splattered remains. "I'll go inform Curtis, you fine the Colonel." And with that he left.

Tali ran off to find Colonel Hsu and tell him about the monorail, making up a story as she ran. She found him sitting at his desk, his head in his hands. Tali approached him and cleared her throat.

"Yes? Can I help you?" Hsu said, looking up at her.

She paused. "I know who bombed the monorail."

"What?" Hsu looked shocked. "Who?"

"Private Crenshaw," Tali replied. "He's dead now though."

"Crenshaw... I've met Crenshaw. At his disciplinary hearing. Still, this is hard to imagine. He was just a prankster."

"He had explosives and plans for the operation bearing Caesar's emblem," Tali lied.

Hsu sighed. "I was afraid of this. Caesar's reach is longer than anybody guessed. If only we'd caught him sooner, before he got to the monorail... Still, this investigation has been valuable to us, and you deserve to be compensated for it." He handed her some caps.

"Thank you, sir," Tali said, and then left to go and find Nara.

Nara was stood by Curtis, the two of them have a hushed conversation. "So everything is done?" He whispered, the Captain nodded in response and handed him a few caps, Nara stared at them in confusion as he walked away. "What the?" The caps in his palm jingled as he rolled them around, he'd never really been good with caps since all the Legion used was Legion money. "Well we can leave," he pocketed the strange money and walked out of the main building, jumping back when Rex lept up to lick his face, excited they were back.

Tali knelt down on the ground and began to scratch Rex's chin affectionately. "Hi boy! Are you ready to head home now?" She cooed.

Rex barked enthusiastically in response, jumping up and giving Tali a good old lick on the face. Nara sighed and began to walk, not looking for to the trek back to Cottonwood Cove at all, the only upside was Tali seemed to have become less-annoying, he hoped it stayed that way.

Two days later.

Nara slumped a little as they walked down the canyon towards Cottonwood Cove, he kept grumbling every time his boot got caught on a rock and was generally being a moody bitch. Rex meanwhile was happily plodding along, jumping from rock to rock trying to catch little beams of light that caught themselves on the canyons that surrounded them. The dog suddenly stopped, ears pricking a little in an alert manner. Rex then darted off down the canyon barking madly.
"What's with him?" Nara watched Rex disappear, however as they got closer he too heard the sounds of gunfire.

"That doesn't sound good..." Tali said as she sprinted forwards. A horrified look crossed her face as she saw NCR soldiers attacking the Legion outpost below. "Oh God, this isn't good," she said, pulling out her pistol.

Nara didn't have time to respond, an NCR Ranger appeared from behind them and raised his rifle, ready to blast both their heads off. However there was a loud scream and then a thump as the Ranger's body fell to the floor, revealing behind it a rather happy Kori. "Hey guys," he beamed, covered from head to toe in blood, an even bloodier Ripper held in his hands.
"Kori..." Nara blinked, rather stunned by the mans sudden explosion of battle poweress.
"We're sort of under attack," Kori chirped out, as if they hadn't realised, he then charged forwards and took out a stray NCR solider. "Mary is trapped over by the prisoners cage."

"Kori!" Tali cried happily. She then turned serious again. "Why is she fighting? She shouldn't be fighting while pregnant!" She began running down the hill to help Mary out and protect her.

"AS IF YOU BITCH!" Mary screamed, dragging an NCR woman by the hair towards the lake, her face red in anger. The woman in her hands kicked and screamed, trying to get away from the mad woman's grasp. Finally fed up with her struggling, Mary grabbed one of the frying pans and smashed it down on her face, shutting her up for good. "Tali?" Mary stood up straight. "I blame you for this, I came down to meet you...." She smiled, to show it was a joke.
A solider crept up behind Tali but was halted instantly when his head was severed by a ripper, Vulpes watched the solider slump to the floor and rolled his eyes at Tali. "That's the second time I've saved you."
Nara and Kori were busy taking out Rangers, ignoring the screams around them.

"Be careful, Mary! Fighting isn't good for you or the babies!" Tali cried, but she still smiled at her. She let out a small cry of shock as the soldier's body fell down beside her, and she whirled around, unable to stop herself from blushing slightly as she realised that Vulpes had saved her life... Again. She then ran off and did her best to help defend the Cove, shooting at any NCR soldier within her line of sight. However, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a sniper hiding amongst the rocks, aiming his rifle at Kori. She sprinted over to him and pushed him out of harms's way. But as she did so, she realised too late that Mary had been standing behind him...

As the rifle went off Mary felt an odd heaviness hit her in the chest, she stumbled backwards and raised a hand to just below her collar bone, it felt warm and sticky. "What...?" She raised her hand to see the bright red blood now dripping down her fingers, her body collapsed backwards and instantly the world went dark.
Kori spun around just in time to see Mary fall to the floor, blood now pooling out from beneath he. "MARY!" He screamed frantically, noticing some more soldiers coming towards her body. The man just stormed forwards and brutally hacked one to pieces, eyes narrowed dangerously as he began to massacre the men.
Vulpes was shaken as Mary was shot - things were getting bad and they needed to get out of here. He drew his machete and went towards a small party of soldiers, attacking them and hopefully giving the others time to get on the boat.

Tali looked down at Mary in a state of shock. Suddenly, it seemed as if she had cast aside her normal personality as she let out a roar of rage. She tackled a nearby ranger to the ground and, in a show of strength that she certainly did not have when she didn't have adrenaline running through her veins, she seized his head and pulled until she broke his neck. She then picked up an abandoned machete that was lying on the ground and joined Kori in hacking at every NCR soldier in sight. She looked completely mad.

Kori seemed to match Tali perfectly as with each sweep of his ripper Tali would appear beside him and take out a Ranger as well, the two making short work of the swarms. Five, six, seven, the death toll for them kept rising as they turned into an almost unstoppable force. When only the sniper was left, Kori jumped up the rocks and heaved himself high enough to grab him and throw him down to the ground. The sniper cursed and grunted as he fell down the rocks and landed by Tali's feet, Kori soon joined her, staring down at the man who had just seemingly killed their friend. "After this, I'm going to find your family and kill them," Kori slammed the ripper down into his chest causing the ribs to break and blood to fly upwards.
